Cambodia: Faces of the Cambodian Children

I went to Cambodia in Nov and met a lot of Cambodian children at tourist sites. They clad in ragged clothes, suffered from malnutrition and walked around barefoot. At such young age, they should be spending their time in school but they were selling souvenirs to make ends meet. Survival! They would beg you, tail you just to make a $1 dollar business. $1 means a lot to them and even 100 riel ($0.025) could put a smile on their faces.

Some of the priceless faces that I managed to snap. This girl was standing still when I took a picture of her.

Looked confused.

A little girl who frowned. Try to look into her eyes, your heart will shed tears. I gave her 100 or 500 riel and when I left the temple, she came to me and say bye. Aww, so sweet!

Be thankful for what you have. Merry Christmas!
