Dinner At Dragon-i
After joining the workforce for some time, it's time for us to loosen our ties and chignons and had a dinner gathering after work. This time round, the FFK King turned up for the dinner. We had our dinner at Dragon-i, One Utama.
For sure, we wouldn't miss out the delicate Shanghainese Xiao Long Bao (小笼包). It's tasted best with a little bit of ginger and vinegar. There's a technique to eat this meat dumpling, that is, to make a small hole and suck up the soup wrapped inside the thin dumpling skin.
I ate this fried rice (八宝炒饭).
Spicy and Sour La Mian (酸辣汤拉面).
Another Fried Rice with Ham, Shrimp and Fish (三鲜炒饭).
As the La Mian is the reason why people dine in this restaurant. This is another signature delicacy, La Mian with Shanghainese Pork Chop (上海拉面).
Chef's recommended Steamed Rice with Chicken, Mushroom and Chinese Sausage (腊肠北菇滑鸡桶仔蒸饭).
The person who ate this said 'Do I order this? It looks different from what's shown in the picture.' Lol. So I don't know what's the name of this dish too. haha..
Coincidentally, Malaysian Dreamgirl finale was held in One Utama that night too. By the time we finished our dinner, we went to take a look. The show had ended and the judges, beautiful girls and audience were taking pictures after the show. We saw famous bloggers like KennySia, ShaolinTiger, Kimberlycun and Pinkpau. well, well, well... looks who's complaining of "insufficient funds" and perpetually stressing money is an asset we should cherish in life... bullocks... dining @ DI doesn't looks like a contemptible place to me :)
P.S: Im having a feeling someone's going to tell me this very infamous line... "I didnt made the payment, someone had treated me for this meal"... LOL ~ :)
Very nice dinner you all have.. I love to eat the Xiao Long Bao.. But Xiao Long Bao quite fattening one lol
